Portrait mode on iPhone 7 Plus

Now, iPhone 7 plus users can shoot photos like a pro with the all new Portrait Mode. The portrait mode has a new Depth-of-field effect. Meaning you can focus on one part of the object of the image and the rest of the objects in the image gets blurred out.

Update your iPhone 7 plus to iOS 10.1 now and access the Depth Effect now though your camera app, in between Photo and Square modes.

In addition to Portrait mode, the dual-camera on the iPhone 7 plus also offers optical zoom. At two times and 10 time digital zoom for photos. Apple says “Portrait mode is currently in beta and customers can expect enhancements in future iOS updates.”

Below are some of the pictures that I have taken off from Apple. These pictures have been taken using Portrait Mode with an iPhone 7 plus.
