WhatsApp finally rolls out Video Calling feature for all their users

Its been a while since WhatsApp messenger informed the public that they are working on a video call feature. And then few weeks later Android users were able to use that feature by signing up for the beta testing (which I wrote an article about few days ago).

And finally few hours ago WhatsApp has released a new update to all their users (Android, IOS) with the all new Video Calling feature and a few other cool new features as well. Unfortunately WindowsPhone users will be getting this update a little late as they are still on the process of developing the feature for this platform.

“We’re introducing this feature because we know that sometimes voice and text just aren’t enough. There’s no substitute for watching your grandchild take her first steps, or seeing your daughter’s face while she’s studying abroad. And we want to make these features available to everyone, not just those who can afford the most expensive new phones or live in countries with the best cellular networks.” – WhatsApp
