Sweet Update To Android 7.1.1: Nougat

Upon the launch of Android Nougat, Google has been working on way to make Android our own! And earlier this month, Google released Android 7.1.1, the latest version of Android N (Nougat).

Earlier this year, Google announced a proposal to promote gender equality by adding new emoji that reflect the pivotal roles women play in the world, and represent a wider range of professions for both women and men. They have included gender counterparts for emoji that previously only had male or female representation. Now there are female welders and men getting haircuts. The new set of emoji launched with the Google Pixel phones and now are available to all devices running Android 7.1.1. So you can jam like a rock star or explore the galaxy like an astronaut.

And from this new update, you also can send GIF’s on supported applications such as Facebook Messenger, Google Allo, Google messenger directly from your keyboard to express yourself. You can also try this by installing Gboard (Google Key Board). You can find the download links for both Android and iOS below.

Android 7.1.1 brings you app shortcuts directly from your home screen. Now you can launch actions on your favorite apps by long pressing on the app shortcut. Jump directly into an existing conversation on Google Messenger or start an entirely new one – all straight from the app icon.
