[How-to] Undo sent e-mails on Gmail

Have you sent an email to anyone and then wished you could just undo what you sent, may be because you forgot to add an attachment or may be because you sent it to the wrong email address? Google mail has actually implemented the “Undo” button for their user’s, this feature has been there for a while now but it needs to be manually activated.

In the screenshot below you can see that I have the undo button activated

Do you also want to have the undo button? Follow the steps below:

  1. First, go ahead and open your Gmail Account
  2. And go to your Gmail settings

3.  Scroll down and until you find the setting called “Undo Send”, check the check box                 which is beside this option.

From the drop down menu you can also change the duration of the undo message which will be displayed after you send an email.

And there you go! Now you can undo emails if you’re a Google Mail user!
